The story that brings you up to date
is that throughout my life I
My wife decided she would try and find out
I knew my father was dead,
I wasn't sure about my mother.
So my wife did some research.
She found that my mother
She also discovered that after
that she had a son who would
Earlier this year,
I decided I would write to this person
The only reason I'm doing this is because
but I don't want to go through life
and not doing anything about it.
So he wrote back saying, I don't think
He said, the only way we're going to find
So I said, okay.
So I wrote to him in January,
and it turns out we are brothers.
And we met in July in London.
The odd thing here, not the odd thing is,
Because my father's black,
So he— and I was worried about the problem
and his grandkids, because I'm going
My mum was white, my dad wasn't.
But he's taken to it like a duck to water.
And in fact, one of the things about
I've kept links with the RAF, and in fact
marched at the Cenotaph last week,
in 3 years we've done it.
But this year, you know,
also came to see me march at the Cenotaph.
